Support Specific Areas

  • Exhibition and Installation Support

Sonoma Valley Museum of Art presents exhibitions and public art installations each year. The details of exhibitions and public art installation may take years to develop, requiring museum curators, partnerships with artists, collectors, foundations and museums. Gifts towards the sponsorship of an upcoming exhibition or public art installation are key to continuing to provide access of important collections for the community and visitors alike.

  • Art Education

Art education is central to Sonoma Valley Museum of Art’s mission and includes a wide variety of programs for youth, students and adults. Art Rewards the Student (A.R.T.S.) supports all fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms in Sonoma Valley reaching over 750 students each year at no charge to the schools. Additional youth programs include summer art camps, family make ins and teen studio programs. Adult programs include workshops with professional artists, discussions with experts on the art of our time, film screenings, and other opportunities to engage with the art of our time. These programs allow everyone to explore and develop connections and are tied to the exhibitions. Free programs are included for the community to become engaged with modern and contemporary art.

  • Other Areas of Support

Your support plays a vital role to continue providing the community with groundbreaking and innovative exhibitions, public art installations and programs. There are other areas of support that can benefit, please contact us at 707.939.7862 ext. 141 to inform us about your interests in supporting the museum.
