Passion & Fire features the creative partnership between sculptors and the master foundry technicians of Decker Studios, the North Hollywood fine arts foundry and atelier that has transformed artists’ ideas into monumental bronze and metal works for more than 50 years.
Established by renowned sculptor Sanford “Sandy” Decker, who helped build advanced complex large-scale bronze techniques, Decker Studios has served over 400 international artists including Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta), Sanford Decker, Mark Grotjahn, Ynez Johnston, Rico Lebrun, Karen Mortillaro, Alison Saar, and Stanisław Szukalski.
The exhibition reveals how the specialized processes of casting, fabrication, and patination bring individual artistic visions to life as enduring works of sculpture and public art.
