We Are Still Here

This work was created as part of the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art’s Art Rewards The Student (A.R.T.S.) program, which brings SVMA’s Teaching Artists to fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms in Sonoma Valley.

The theme for A.R.T.S. this year is “We Are Still Here”, highlighting the work of contemporary Pomo artists and the incredible diversity that exists within California todayThe program aims to support students in building resilience, reminding them that they have resources within themselvesthe land, and their community that they can call upon for supportStudents will be offered creative experiences that affirm their ability to share their unique perspective with the world and reinforce the power they have to impact the future.

Family Arts Day

Free admission for all.

Please join us on Sunday, April 30 for our annual Family Arts Day celebrating our young Sonoma artists. There will be beautiful student artwork on view, indoor/outdoor art-making stations, refreshments, and lots of fun.
