Artists Alan Crisp, Erick Dunn, and Brian Fies and poet Ed Coletti, all of whom lost their homes in the Tubbs and Nuns fires, comprise a special roundtable discussion about why they continue to make art in the face of overwhelming disaster and the challenges to recover and/or rebuild their homes. Joining the group are trauma-care specialists Dr. Robert Macy and Nick Dalton of the Hanna Institute, who will help facilitate a conversation about what our community can take away from knowing about this unique kind of resiliency.
Free with Museum admission.
*Note, due to unforeseen circumstances, poet Maurine Killough, originally on this panel, had to withdraw.
