Improvisational Monotypes with Susan Wolf

Adult Art Making Workshop

Join us for an all-day immersive workshop to create a series of textured, improvisational monotypes with and without a press, using a range of fibers and objects to expand your gestural vocabulary. Inspired by Genn’s work, explore how natural forms generate infinite iterations – you’ll observe, translate, and explore notions of care for our natural environment and each other. You’ll work with Susan Wolf, a playful trickster, printmaker, bookmaker, performer, and educator who will guide you into and through the joys of the unexpected mark.

Susan has been a resident artist and teaching artist at Kala Art Institute and a member of The Crit Lab and The California Society of Printmakers. She has exhibited her work at The Berkeley Art Center, Kala Art Institute, ACCI Gallery, Berkeley Civic Center, Pro Arts Gallery, Art & Soul Festival, and Oakland International Airport. She has had two solo exhibitions of work at Bomarzo Studio in San Francisco.
